Firestarter Films is a unique event in the Milwaukee area for local filmmakers to screen their work and chat with the audience in Alchemist’s comfortable lounge afterwards. Breaks are taken regularly between short films to give the audience a chance to talk to filmmakers while the films are still fresh in everyone’s mind. Firestarter Films is a very interactive event, the audience is encouraged to bring films of their own to show the night of the event. Films begin at 7pm and will run until or past midnight.

Make sure to bring business cards whether you are a filmmaker, actor, cinematographer, writer, etc. You will be introduced to many people in Milwaukee's Film Community who are looking for others to work with on future projects.
For those showing films, upon your arrival, find Shawn Monaghan or Phil Koch to have your film(s) added to the playlist (if you haven't gotten it to us before hand). Make sure to let us know if you are leaving early or are waiting for others to arrive so we know when is the best time to show your film.
We already have several films on the playlist, contact Shawn at info@a5pmproduction.com to be added to the playlist before the night of the event to secure your film being shown. FREE TO SHOW YOUR FILM!
